Hello and Welcome to my Tribe!
Hi, I’m Pati. A traveller, photographer (aspiring), dreamer and hopeless believer in magic. I have caught the travel bug in my forties – and not planning to look back any time soon. I travel solo and on budget and my plan is to travel the world.
I would love to take you with me on my life’s journey and share my experience with you, give you tips on how to travel around the world, how to discover people and their culture. How to start your own life’s adventure and how to do it your way.
It took me a long time to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. And like for many of us I thought that settling into a stable job and finding my piece of the world to settle in, will make me feel like an adult.
Yet in life, we need to try first, to find out. And I tried. And I’m now certain that I was not made for regular life. But what is regular life anyway? Who defines the standards?
I left Poland at the age of 25 only to see then, what the world has to offer. I spent 13 years in the UK, then a few years in Spain and eventually I landed in Malta. And now, 20 years later – I feel like I’m only starting.
I am here chasing my dreams. And if this is something you would like to do – I am here to tell you that it is never too late!
It is never too late to start over, to rediscover and reinvent yourself. It is never too late to start chasing your dreams.
I don’t claim that I’ve done and seen it all. I haven’t been to 100 countries (but maybe one day I will!). But I believe in the benefits of slow travel. Immersing yourself in the culture, learning the language and going off the beaten track. I don’t count countries – I count memories.
I am an amateur traveller. learning every day and making lots of silly mistakes. But then I try and do it again, hopefully, better this time. I am here to tell you that everything is possible. It is not easy. But it is possible
